Fire & Security Engineer – Hampshire
Main Duties:
- Service and maintain a variety of fire alarm systems, including conventional, addressable, two-wire, wireless, and aspirated types.
- Perform maintenance on emergency lighting systems.
- Service and maintain access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems.
- Maintain and service AOV systems.
- Conduct fault diagnosis and respond to emergency call-outs for the systems mentioned.
- Carry out remedial work on the systems as needed.
- Commission the life safety systems listed above.
Skills & Experience:
- Thorough understanding and practical experience with BS5839 and BS5266 standards.
- Certified in FIA and BAFE modules.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices, including asbestos awareness and manual handling.
Qualifications:
- A proactive, positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, solution-oriented approach, customer service focus, and a good sense of humor and ethics.
